Billing Terms and Conditions

This page explains payment methods, billing procedures, and payment-related policies for orders placed on Brivley.

Accepted Payment Methods

Brivley accepts the following payment methods:

- PayPal

- Apple Pay

- Google Pay

- Shop Pay

All payments are processed in United States Dollars (USD).


Payment Authorization and Timing

Payment is required at the time you submit your order. Your payment method will be charged when your order is placed and payment authorization is confirmed.


Orders are not processed or shipped until payment authorization is successfully completed. If your payment is declined or fails authorization, your order will not be processed.


If your payment fails, you will receive an email notification with instructions on how to update your payment information or resubmit your order.


Pricing and Taxes

All prices displayed on our website are listed in USD. Prices shown do not include applicable sales tax, which will be calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address.


Price changes do not affect orders that have already been placed and confirmed. We reserve the right to change product prices at any time for future orders.


What You Pay at Checkout

Your order total at checkout includes:

- Product cost

- Applicable sales tax (calculated based on shipping address)

- Shipping charges: $0.00 (free shipping on all U.S. orders)


The total amount shown at checkout is the final amount that will be charged to your payment method.


Payment Security

All payments are processed through Shopify Payments and third-party payment providers (PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay) that use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your payment information.


Brivley does not store complete credit card numbers or sensitive payment details on our systems. Payment data is transmitted securely and stored by our payment processors in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.


International Cards

We accept credit and debit cards issued by international banks. If you use an international card, your bank may apply currency conversion fees or international transaction fees. Brivley is not responsible for fees charged by your financial institution.


Refunds

Refunds for returned items are processed according to our Return & Refund Policy and are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.


Refund processing timelines:

- Brivley processes approved refunds within 7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item

- Your bank or payment provider may take an additional 3-5 business days to post the refund to your account

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you have a billing concern, payment issue, or question about a charge, please contact our customer support team at support@brivley.com or +1 (781) 426-3744 before disputing the charge with your bank or credit card company.


We will work with you to resolve any legitimate billing concerns quickly and fairly.


Chargebacks initiated without first contacting Brivley may result in delays in resolution and may be disputed if the transaction was valid and in accordance with our policies.


Fraud Prevention and Order Review

To protect against unauthorized transactions and fraudulent activity, we reserve the right to:


- Request additional verification for orders, including high-value purchases

- Delay processing while verifying order details

- Cancel orders that appear to involve fraud, unauthorized card use, or billing irregularities


If additional verification is needed, we will contact you at the email address provided during checkout. Orders will not be processed until verification is complete.


Failed or Declined Payments

If your payment is declined during checkout, possible reasons include:


- Insufficient funds

- Incorrect billing address or card information

- Card issuer security hold or restriction

- Expired card


If your payment fails:

1. Verify your payment information is correct

2. Contact your bank or card issuer to resolve any holds or restrictions
